Soft drink, Porn Addiction and soul loss
In the last week I had three clients who showed up for healing, with porn addiction.
It’s an epidemic, and we know it, but has the conversation moved on?
Supermarket aisles lit up like a Christmas tree, “foods” that are wrapped in plastic leaching toxins, and additives that seem far, far away from anything that seem suitable for consumption.
I could go on about my alien experiences of supermarkets, but I am digressing.
Am I the only alien here? – or can we, remind ourselves - that society is sick, tired and deficient. The symptoms? Or the soul-loose-tion? Porn Addiction.
I mainly hang out with men and women that find porn weird and soft drink toxic.
The issue here, is that porn has become normalised. It’s been swept under the rug. We stopped asking the question.
Hey, how was your weekend? Are you addicted to something that’s cut you off from your life force?
That totally unhinges you from the earth beneath your feet, from connecting with true, vulnerable, heart-based intimacy? Are you losing your soul to a computer, and to entities? To people having sex in an unhinged and unrealistic way.
Don't get me wrong – I'm not judging you. Society is sick. But if your friend was shooting up meth you’d be concerned. You’d tell them to stop. If your nieces and nephews were drinking Fanta each night with dinner, you’d knock that shit out of their hands. This is no different.
So, what is the solution? Good news, is there’s a few. A trusted friend with the only code to a website blocker. Peeling yourself off the couch and into the world, connecting vulnerably with other humans who like to do whatever you do. Sitting under the same tree, at the park or in the forest each week. Staring people in the eyes; or connecting with their hearts – and letting them know what's actually going on. Seeing an energy healer. The list goes on.
The path is not easy. But soul loss is a treacherous path to travel down, and gains traction quickly. The only remedy is to stop. To pull it out, by the roots. Let's remind each other that familiarity does not soften danger.
I can recognise porn addiction by reading the client's field. I am able to grasp how it is blocking them in their lives.
How does it show up?
The blueprint, or what some practitioners refer to as “The Map” is as follows:
A ‘wall’ type energy covering the root chakra and the sacral chakra, between the client and the rest of the world.
A sense of not being grounded – not connected to earth (the mother/the divine/the feminine – this part of themselves), or to a root network below them. A sense of drifting in space, unanchored.
An inability to connect; to both give and receive love, inspiration and nourishment to people, places, things. An example is, short tentacles waving in the wind. Here in a balanced individual, we would find thick, healthy, well-established cords.
The front of the heart is vacant, and uninhibited. The back of the heart is longing for recognition, support, and a deep ache to be both seen and connected in the world.
Sucks, huh? Thankfully, we can do something about it.
